Does not keep up with Marksmanship in terms of DPS at all.(Attractive mostly for the experienced PvPer). Provides decent DoTs in terms of Explosive Shot, Black Arrow, and Serpent Sting.

- Provides good raid buffs which can be mana replenishment, critical strikes, and hit.
- (I can’t really elaborate that much on Survival because I do not have much experience with it). The DoTs that Survival provides are also great for PvP. Mostly used in PvP, the amount of CCs that Survival offers is crazy.
- Lacking hit rating when you’re gear is more and more towards BiS.
- Does not provide much raid buffs aside from Trueshot Aura.
- In PvP, in a matter of a Serpent Sting, Chimera Shot, Aimed Shot, Auto Shot, and Silencing Shot, I can pull off about 20-24k damage on a full Wrath Plater). (As a baseline, my recount sometimes shot up to about 32-38kDPS Deathbringer Saurfang but then cooled off to around 24k DPS. Check out the build Puts up GREAT numbers in regards to DPS. Like any other good Hunter, a simple 7/57/7 build will suffice. Even though Marksmanship lacks the raid buffs that Survival and Beast Mastery can provide, that’s what Paladins, Warlocks, and Druids can make up for. Marksmanship is hands down the greatest DPS spec that a Hunter can choose from. Who doesn’t love putting up huge numbers, in regards to DPS, in raids? I’m certainly down towards putting up big hits. Marksmanship: Provides great numbers PvE and puts up great “straight up” damage in PvP.
Some more insightful information might show up there. But, please be respectful and do not simply say, “You noob!! This is wrong, you’re a baddie!” Additionally, please keep an eye on the comment section. So, with that said, please, comment advice for myself, and for other hunters out there. My philosophy is that no one is ever done learning, we can always learn more. Also, the content in this guide is purely opinionated (like most class guides anyways). Let me start off by saying that this guide is geared towards Hunters focusing on PvE. I've wanted to do this because, in my opinion, I have become much better in a PvE environment.
Hello everyone, it’s Caylana of Redemption and I’ve wanted to make a Hunter guide for sometime.
